Custom Hollow Body

| This guitar is adapted from the 'Custom Solid' model.
A client wanted a hollow-bodied guitar based on the Custom Solid that he already owned. The body of the guitar is 12mm wider and 16mm longer with an edge thickness of 50mm. Prior to gluing the maple cap, the mahogany back is hollowed resulting in a highly resonant instrument. |

The guitar shown has a one-piece Brazilian rosewood neck and hosts MannMade USA's superb model 2300 'wrapover' bridge and a pair of DiMarzio Air Classic humbuckers.
It is rare to use a one-piece rosewood neck - an optional extra on any model - but the centred tone and unique feel of the unfinished wood has received compliments from many players. |
